The design for Ichi takes its identity to a new innovative representation of a travel through light, where diners feel like being in a capsule that takes them to the future, ideally matched with the contrasting flavors and colors of Ichi’s sushi.
A unique language was created to generate a personalized identity with custom-made architectural features and furniture, like the lighted glass tables and the lowered tunnel dining area.
For the material selection on the other side, the idea was to use simple and pure materials like glass and microcement to create homogeneous surfaces that remind us to the space ship that is aiming to be presented.
Last but not least, from the ‘tunnel’ space, diners will have a direct view to sushi chefs in action.
